jumping & agility
Agility & Jumping are activities where both the handler and dog work together to perform a designated obstacle course. Only one chance is permitted for each obstacle. Teams strive for accuracy and speed. Disqualification of the course if an obstacle is omitted, refused or not completed within the allotted time.
Obstacles include jumps, a frame, weaving, tunnels, and table where the dog must wait for the command to continue. Every course is different as they are set by the judge of the day.
Different levels of competence can be achieved in this sport as well.
Titles that can be gained are:
JD – Jumping Dog. This is the novice or entry level.
JDX – Jumping Dog excellent
JDM- Jumping Dog Master
JDO – Jumping Dog Open

Agility - As with Jumping the judge sets the course and a greater number of equipment is used in addition to those used in jumping. Equipment in this level can include seesaw, bar jumps, broad jumps, tyres, spread jumps, dogs must also be able to manoeuvre the dog walk, seesaw, table and A frame.

ADX - Agility Dog Excellent,
ADM - Agility Dog Master
ADO - Agility Dog Open
AGCh – Agility Champion
